Rhea, with her petite stature, stood in front of a stall. Her hand raised as she waited for the mare to come to her. Her brunette hair pulled up into a pony-tail, though a few strands came loose. She was wearing a pair of faded jeans and a dark blue shirt that clung to her body, revealing her curves. The mare came to her willingly, placing her muzzle beneath Rhea's hand.
A soft smile lighted up her face and Rhea nickered softly as she stroked the chestnut mare. The scent of the stable enveloping her. Odd, but she loved the way it smelled. She absolutely loved it in the barn. The serenity of it all.
The mare snorted in contentment and stepped closer, forcing more of her massive cranium under Rhea's hand, to be stroked. Rhea giggled at the mare's persistence before reaching her other hand up to stroke her mane.

A bay colored Arabian mare gave a nicker when she heard footsteps in the isle and threw her head over the stall door. Luci looked up and down the isle and only saw a girl saying hello to another horse down the row. Snorting, the Arabian mare walked to the other side of her stall where her food contanier was and started to eat what was left of the alphalfa pellets then went to get a drink before returning to the feed bin. Luci snorted as she munched quietly on her feed, and as she watched the outside world from her stall.

Rhea turned her head towards the Arabian. She'd always loved Arabians. She glanced more at the mare in a farewell before heading towards Luci.
As she came up to her stall she glanced up to see what her name was. "Luci." she stated matter-of-factly. She smiled slightly before holding out her hand to Luci.
"Hello." she greeted softly.

Luci perked her ears forward before taking a step toward Rhea with her nose stretched forward. Giving a gentle snort she stepped up to the stall door and nudged her shoulder softly, looking for a treat. She nickered into Rhea's shirt with her neck arched over the stall door. Her eyes were gentle as she watched the human, her feet still as she stood there, still waiting for a treat. Shaking her mane, she gave a quiet neigh that rang silently through the barn.

Rhea laughed at Luci's character. She placed her hand on her muzzle and stroked her slightly before realizing what Luci was after. "Ah.." she said as it dawned on her, "I know what you want."
She reached for her pockets and pulled out a Paddock Cake. She held it out to Luci.
"I just bought some yesterday morning." she murmured.

Luci gently took the treat from Rhea's hand with a gentle nicker and ears perked toward her. Munching on the Paddock Cake and injoying the sofe taste, Luci kept her ears pricked toward Rhea, even when she turned her head to the outside, wishing to go out and run. Without or with a rider, it didn't matter much. She just wanted to get out of the stall and move about for a while, but being stuck here didn't help much either. She readjusted her attenion back to Rhea as she nosed her stall door gently, just enough to make the lock jingle a bit, but not hard enough to hurt herself or get in trouble for touching the door or supposidly trying to get out. She'd never do that, for she loved it here. All the people, the moving about, and the pleasing of her riders on her back. She loved all the attention and the treats, so she never knew why some horses never liked it here.

Rhea glanced around before reaching back up to pat Luci. She smiled and unlatched the stall door. Smoothly she slid into it with Luci and grabbed her bridle. Placing it on her she poked her head back out into the hallway of the stables.
"Good. No one's around." she murmured.
Turning back to Luci she grabbed her bridle and began to lead her out into the hallway.
